Story: Nothing is Permanent in Life.
A man goes to a temple and prays for the well being of his child who is in the hospital battling death. He is sad. At the same time, a teenager outside the same temple is distributing sweets as he passed his 12th board exams. He is happy.
Few days later, a man is seen distributing sweets outside the same temple. He’s the same man whose child was in the hospital battling death. The child is declared out of danger. The man is happy.
Inside the temple, a man weeps like a baby in front of God. He is the same man who passed his 12th board exams. He is unable to secure a seat in any of the good universities. He is sad.
Nothing is permanent in life. Neither happiness, nor sadness. In a blink, your life can turn upside down. So, stay calm in both happiness and sadness. Treat both of them in the same way. The person who does this is the one who in true sense has achieved peace in life.
